What are mould cooling components?
Mould cooling components are the standard fittings that carry cooling water through a mould: nipples and plugs connect and blank the circuits, baffles and spiral cores push water up into cores and towers, and O-rings seal the joints. They are consumable standards, replaced at tool maintenance.

- A baffle divides a drilled cooling hole into an up-and-down flow path, forcing water to the top of a core or tower so heat is removed where straight channels cannot reach.
