What are aluminium profile?
Structural aluminium profile is an extruded section with T-slots on each face. Frames, guards, enclosures and workstations are assembled from cut lengths using slot nuts, brackets and connectors, and can be modified or extended at any time. Series are named by slot pitch and section (20, 30, 40, 45 series and up).
Typical materials
Typically 6063-T5 anodised aluminium; slot nuts and fasteners in steel or stainless.

- Pick the series (e.g. 30 or 40) by the loads and spans: deflection under load usually decides. Frames commonly mix a heavier base series with lighter guarding sections of the same slot standard.
